APOLLO 11 EAGLE LUNAR MODULE - DSKOne of two landers produced by DSK in the wake of the 1969 moon landing. This, the larger, is also more detailed. Tin and plastic battery op Apollo lander. Bump and go action. The toy then stops and a door opens to reveal a silver astronaut. Also shown is the version with black metal legs.

A smaller and simpler version of the earlier DSK Apollo 11 Eagle Lunar Module. The astronaut is a flat representation.

"Cockpit, afterburner lights smoke and mystery action" The capsule has a dome at the back containing a yellow tin astronaut sitting at a console with a red flashing light. A lighted red plastic engine has been placed at the other end. The capsule has a bump and go action with two rotating wheels and two fixed wheels.

EARTH SATELLITE - ALPSA lightweight sputnik like satellite with a propellor is made to fly by the battery operated remote control. Two batteries and a motor in a lithographed case provide the drive. Compare this with the two versions of the similar Man in Space also by Alps. No firm date yet.

FAITH CAPSULE - YOSHI - JAPAN 1963A simple small tin lithographed friction capsule with the wording USA FAITH 7. The makers mark is printed on the capsule. The graphics have an unusually naive appearance. The astronaut's suit seems to be held together with laces. Box? 9cms x 7cms. Y in Diamond logo

Faith 7 was the last of the Mercury capsules and was piloted by L. Gordon Cooper, Jr. for 22 orbits of the Earth in 1963.

LUNAR CAPTAIN - NOMURATin and plastic battery op. Tin Apollo capsule and plastic lunar lander. The toy moves along the floor with blinking lights and sounds. The vehicle stops and rises, the Apollo capsule disengages and begins to turn. After several rotations the capsule docks with base and it resumes movement.

Spacil Space Capsule - SanyoPlastic Resembling the Mercury space capsule, this 5" tall pencil sharpener has green and red lights around the cone that glow (each in succession for a "spinning" light effect) when the unit is in operation.
The base comes off to reveal prongs that plug into a standard 110v outlet for recharging the built-in battery. The capsule fits onto the box for display.
