Batmobile for Batman

I received these two rare  Don Carmelo Batmobiles from the USA this week. They both date from the  60's and the yellow version is almost big enough for my Batman robot  at 18" long!

I've NEVER seen anything quite like it. It's listed as either English or French? Hmm... :scratchhead:

It looks like it fires elastic bands?

After years of trying to get another Nomura Batman at the right price, over the space of a few weeks I spotted two, badly listed, poor pictures and vague descriptions, one seller with low feedback and the other with NO feedback... :scratchhead:

 

Just when I thought they were all out of reach... :pigsfly:

I've been on the lookout for this for a while. How funny that both drivers have NO visors and a steering wheel each! And rubber tyres for extra grip! LOL!

Okay! I keep hearing about the Diamond Planet found on a market stall somewhere in Europe for 5 Euros!
Somebody must be able to enlighten us with more details???
