The Attacking Martian

Hello Everyone,

My name is Harrison, a raygun/robot collector and new member from the UK.

I've got a bit of a mystery on my hands...

I bought this ray gun to add to my collection, which appears to be an unusual variation on the Hubley Atomic Disintegrator.

The obvious difference is that it's gold not silver, and has a completely different "barrel" end. Other differences include:
- Its cap mechanism pull/switch is near the trigger and not near the barrel
- The slide down cap mechanism looks different from the inside
- It has crisper, rounder '0s' on the gun dial, compared to the more oval numbers on the original.

It's die-cast metal and weighs the same amount as the original. It has no maker's markings on it.

Any ideas?
