Well here is the proof the Brits never really got the hang of making exciting and desirable space toys to tempt the 50s and 60s kids.
Just look at the thought and imagination that went into this baby .   :crying-and-sobbing:

Hello you robot mechanics out there in Alphadrome land.

Here's a question that I've been meaning to ask for about 2 years.

Why does my Great Astronaut fall over when he's walking ?? I've tried everything to try and rectify the problem but it seems like his legs move to far which throws his centre of gravity right off and he falls over forward and to one corner. I even bought a scrappy all tin TV robot to change the mechanisms over but when I got that working he does the very same thing so pointless.

Do I recall that sometime in the past someone posted that the all tin TV Robots have this problem,, or some do and that the plastic leg version is a better walker.

Help someone please as he's in great condition but ruined by this problem.
