Attached are pictures of how it looked then and how it looks today. Looked alot better back then I think. The auction site should have more info posted soon about the robot.

I prefer Freddie Ford robot version 1 too.

:) I read the note as saying that the beige or tan colored one is not the same robot as the first one. I too prefer the first version, but the second one could be modified back and made to look like the first I suppose. Better to get the second one cheap, keep it as a piece of robot history it's self, but use it's measurements and duplicate some of the components with which to fashion another replica of the first version Freddie. -L7

I really don't see too much shared components between Freddy 1 & 2. I don't think you could build a Freddy 1 out of it.

I think the second robot looks more like Freddie Fender !

If you were to buy it and convert it back into the original version.

Wouldn't that make you a Freddie Fender Fender Bender ??? :lol:
