thanks joe, good work, the list grows impressive :)

maybe a adition to it, I just notice ME 769 universe reconnaissance boat appears to be a litho + box version of the (still numberless) space commander ship.

also there is this earlier ('60s?) purple box for the bigger ME 767 universe boat

(pictures to follow)

I previewed some robots and space toys (and their boxes) at Morphy's this morning. Saw a Cragstan/Nomura Space Man bearing a box number of 1809. A photo can be found in Morita's book, page #152 or on the Database:

I've added this info to the list.

Here are some photos of the MS 883 from a recent EBAY auction. According to the seller the key and radar are missing. Didn't bid on this one myself (other items to focus on) but very tempting given it went for 18.50 Euros.

new for me and new for the chinese spacetoy list:

ME078 space boat , battery operated mystery action

looks like it predates the more common batt opp numberless diandong da fei chuan version,

and the friction MF742 flying boat

cool toy with the extra side wheels :)

I picked up this flying saucer at Brimfield yesterday:

The box says: "Battery Operated Super Blowing Ball Series II UFO" and carries a "ME 099" designation. The toy itself is marked: "UFO F2 ME 099 MADE IN CHINA".

I've added it to the list.

To the best of my recollection, this is the first time a manufacturer's name

Kang Yuan Toy Factory Shanghai, China.

has been printed on the box.
