But I ordered an Earl Grey, hot!
These metal printers have been around a long time, about 17 years ago I repaired a RADICON robot for a collector and all the detail and mechanical parts of the Radicon head were made this way.
This process would be awesome on a 3d print robot, yeah all metal

I'd be curious as to how strong the parts are, compared to traditional castings.

The parts I had from the Radicon were very thin parts so strength was very low.

You fill my head with wonderful, expensive ideas John. I'd love to use this technique but the thought of industrial lasers melting metal in the back room is scary.
