Rock n Roll Legends and robots

Seems Marky Ramone from The Ramones collects robots.

And Alice Cooper destroys them :)

Can anyone identify the red robot in Alice's hands?

Marky Ramone also makes his own robots from used cellphones :)

Here you can see 2 of them.

I saw her on the street with her band in London in 1977. They were getting their pictures taken. I imagine I'd already heard her on John Peel, or maybe even before, and I must have seen her somewhere because I knew who she was.  I was more of a Siouxsie fan, so I was only a little impressed. Her robot has no feet, and look at that door. NYC was such a dump! Do you notice none of these famous rockers has anything that's very good? Just common robots and repros. They need to work harder.

You know who's got a collection of serious vintage robots? Tim Allen. I know he's not a rock star but I did see a video once from Jay Leno's Garage of Tim Allen's collector cars and he has a display case of vintage robots in the garage. Including a Robby Space Patrol as I remember. Makes sense as he is the voice for one of the most famous space toys of all time. I'll see if I can find that video.

I saw Marky on Comic Book Men and was wondering if any other Dromers were watching; I thought about looking on FB and pointing him in the direction of Alphadrome.

A member of 'The Cars' apparently collected robots early on.  There is a band from the '70s I recall that had a Robert the Robot on the inner album sleeve.

As for Debbie Harry, the talk around our age group of the time (about 19) that she was 30...pretty old for us as far as we were concerned.  Looking back I can see we were foolish with those thoughts.
