This photo was published in the November 27, 1955 issue of the Pictorial Living section of the Los Angeles Examiner:

How many of the toys being played with by David Fluschman can you identify? Personally, a couple of them have me stumped.

Blechroboter

How did you ever recognize, Gernot? Great

Well, the red toy left below seems to be the New Jet Monorail.

Picture from the 1955 Spiegel Christmas Catalogue.

The plane in the foreground is the HWN XC7 Meteor produced by Heinrich Wimmer of Nuremberg. The rocket hanging by the parachute is the VX rocket (one ad I have dates it to 1953) but I haven't heard of one which has a parachute in the tail. In fact the tail exhaust is where the air pump outlet goes so you can pump it up and launch it.

The monorail was also called the Jetrail Express and made by Northrup Products - S. Pasadena, CA as well as the Jetrail Co.

The helicopter is the Remote Control Helicopter which apparently was made in Germany. You can see a close up of it here -Remote Control Helicopter
