What is up everybody?
Long time no post.

Anyway i was at Toy-R-Us today and i saw a FAO Schwartz 10" Tall Tin wind-up for $14.99.

Very Simple but definately kind of cool.

No i did not get one (Long,Long Story) but i will.

If this has been reported i apologize in advance.

Here it is on the FAO Site for $19.99 made by Schylling.

The description says made of plastic but it sure looks like tin to me.
In comes window boxed and i am pretty sure one of them had what looked to be a scratch thru the paint showing bare metal (Tin).

Also a wooden push puppet for $4.99:

.
The latest Schylling Catalog (2012 Toy & Gift Catalog) depicts their own version of this 10" tall, tin wind-up. They call it Cosmo Tin Robot. It's much more colorful than the FAO version:

OMG, Joe! Are you posting a photograph!? Guess I'm going to have to get this one for my granddaughter. The colors are right.

They must have a patented FAO design for a robot. I got their push puppet, and it's the same robot, and I saw other FAO robots in the same design. So apparently, there is an FAO Robot.
