Some great work there. Well done guys.

I really wanted to have a go but I have been too busy! :(

    Hi Dirk,

Yes, I would love an original R-35 but I would also love to be able to pay for a holiday, buy a new bass, put some petrol in the car and pay the mortgage!

    :(

Also I have stated before that I am NOT going to be a collector. Really. I am not going to get sucked in!

    :)

Great story. Cute little robot too.

I wouldn't mind a crack at the box artwork.
  5. R35 added a post in a topic: I Drawed A Raygun.

Well, would you believe it, I uploaded the Raygun as a t-shirt design to Redbubble and it's only made it into the featured gallery!

    Woo me!

    ;)

http://www.redbubble.com/buy-t-shirts goes to the gallery but I am not sure how long designs stay there.

http://www.redbubble.com/products/configure/11615870 goes to the product page.

    Thanks!

Blast deflector vanes? See, that's why I have joined this forum...I become less of a noob every day!

    ;)

With very little experience of these things I designed a Raygun Graphic. To be honest my only real exposure to these things is this very Raygun forum, so apologies for inaccuracies in concept, era etc. I just wanted a fun, cartoony looking Raygun.

As always your opinions are highly valued.

You can get them from my newly minted Redbubble shop. I didn't post the link earlier because I thought it might be regarded as spam. But as you have asked...

I have only opened it this week, so not too much up there. Dumping your whole body of work and replacing it with robot images is quite an upheaval!

Ahh, Gib, excellent ego stroke! Thanks!

I have also done a R35(repro), an Atomic Robot Man and one with all three robots on.. I am going to try to sell some on Redbubble and also try to sell a few designs to some online t-shirt places. Saying that Threadless have rejected a few designs this week, so not sure how much success I will have. I have just sent a Raygun design to Spunky to see if they are interested.

Have you ever thought of setting up an e-shop for prints of your work Gib? Redbubble go greetings cards, posters, all sorts of stuff.

Thought I would get an opinion on my Lilliput design. In the end I decided the best way to go was with a camera. So I took a photo, cropped it out, played with the levels and added a stroke around it. I think it actually works better than just a straight design. And it was much, much quicker!

    Your valuable opinions would be...err...valued.

Ahh, thanks guys, pin walkers and ratchet walkers. I feel a little less like a noob already!

Thanks for the video Robothut, would you mind if I blogged that? I am trying to get a bit of a robot blog going.

I have just been watching a video of the large version of Lilliput walking. He has got an excellent gait, moving bot legs and arms.

The small version just moves using the "gears" in his static legs.

What would be the correct/technical names for the different walking methods?

    Thanks.

Roboto, is it okay if I blog about your videos and put a link to your youtube channel?

It would appear on my blog http://robotrobotrobot.tumblr.com/ and my twitter http://twitter.com/robotrobotROBOT

    Cheers.
