I feel your pain. I bought the lunchbox back in the days of Toy Shop magazine when everything was more pricey so I paid top dollar for it. The sad sad sad part was the store I bought it from told me they sold the thermos separately because it was not the right one, it was just a generic space thermos. Well, of course I found out later that the LIS lunchbox never did have a matching thermos. It was a generic space thermos with early space illustrations. Later I found a thermos on ebay but it made me sick to think that the lunchbox and thermos had survived intact all those years only to be sold off separately.
Picked up a Sears Bandai Moon Mobile Rocket Launcher that needs a bit of restoration work, but happy to have it in any condition. Added that to the Moon Scout and the Arctic Explorer. I love all their stuff, it looks straight out of a Gerry Anderson show. Still seeking the Mobile Laboratory and the Area 5 Radiation Tester.
Their construction toys in this line are cool too. They made a great futuristic tin crane, a bulldozer and more.
Watched a launch gantry section for a Sears Bandai Moon Mobile sail by a couple days ago on ebay. I always wanted that toy but couldn't figure out what to do with the gantry only. So I didn't bid. Then yesterday I find and win--you guessed it--a Sears Bandai Moon Mobile with a bent up gantry. Sigh. Had the auctions been in different order I would be in good shape. As it is, this one will hold a place in my collection until I find a better one. But since this is the first one I have ever seen for sale, it might be a while....
