How are you guys? I was at Borders Book Store yesterday and ran across a Series 3 Zibits robot named Aux, which looks like a tin can with a clear dome head and lighted eyes. This was the only series 3 zibit they had, and fortunately for me, my favorite of all the series 3 zibits pictured on the back of the robot's packaging. I really want to purchase more of these Series 3 Zibits robots, especially Sync, Fusion, Arc, Key, Tactik, and Skit. I searched the internet, and could not find any specific information on these elusive series 3 zibits robots, or where to buy them. Do any of you guys know where I can buy these awesome series 3 zibits? Thanks so much for your help--Bob B.
Great Gifts Guys! Congratulations. Was lucky enough to score my first prototype robot, a Metal House Signal Engine Gears Robot. Love the unique classic face design. All the Best, and Happy New Year--Bob B.
Thanks so much for your response NASA!!! Although the shipping is quite high from the U.K., Amazon UK may be my last hope, as it seems that this RC K9 is nowhere to be found MIB in the U.S. All The Best--Bob B.
How are you guys. Hoping that one of you great collectors out there that owns a Horikawa Robot Mood Lamp can help me out. I recently won one of these cool lamps on Ebay, but unfortunately it didn't come with a light bulb! I couldn't find any information about the correct type of light bulb to use on the robot or its box, so I'm hoping that somebody can give me this information. I don't want the robot to melt, or even worse cause a fire because of the wrong bulb L.O.L. ! Thanks so much for your help--Bob B.
Wow, what a great response guys---I can always count on you great people to help me out. Thanks so much for all your gracious expertise. Boxes are not as important to me as the robot itself, but in this case I needed a value. I also thought about $100.00. I'll let you know how it turns out. Happy Holidays--Bob B.
Hi guys. I was hoping that one of you box experts out there can help me with a question. I recently purchased an original windup High-Wheel robot 4 Gear Version advertised as in near mint condition in original near mint box for $245.00. However, after paying the seller for the robot, the honest seller emailed me and apologized for not realizing that the robot's box was not original, but rather an excellent reproduction box. The seller has agreed to offer me a fair adjustment on the cost of this robot based on his mistake. What do you think would be a fair monetary compensation for me in this situation? Thanks so much for your expert help--Bob B.
Wow David, yes, I see your signature. I am honored to have one of your outstanding works of art in my collection--you are quite a talented individual. Thanks Bartz, Steve and David for your kind words. Indeed, it has been the most difficult time in my life thus far. Nothing can phase me anymore--Bob B.
Thanks David. Actually, I really haven't bought many robots since my mother passed away last year, but I am making progress now, and becoming interested in the hobby once again. Yes, I own the robot that is on my avatar. I thought it was one of a kind, but evidently there are others out there that are the same or at least pretty darn close to it. Best Regards--Bob B.
Hi guys. I really went crazy in this auction ($5000+), but I have been looking for near mint examples of these robots for ages, and overall I feel I did pretty good on pricing. Here's my winning lot:
121 JUPITER ROBOT-BLUE REMOTE 206 MR. PLANET 237 HIGH-WHEEL ROBOT-4 GEAR VERSION 240 HIGH-WHEEL ROBOT-6 GEAR REMOTE BLUE VERSION 333 LOT OF 2 SPACEFIGHTERS 337 BUSY CART ROBOT (Japanese Version) 348 GEAR ROBOT (With speed control dial on head)
Still a hell of a lot cheaper than Chopper customization and parts!!! Congratulations to all the winners out there--Bob.
Hi. Just received my Co Robot in the mail, and all the instructions are in Japanese!!! Many detailed pictures in the instructions, but it also appears that there are many important assembly deatails that must be read and followed in order to assemble the robot correctly and without damaging it. Anybody out there already put this guy together successfully? If so, would appreciate any advice you can give me before I go for it. Thanks so much--Bob B.
