    Hi..

I just found this boat ridden by a Robot.. I am unaware of its rarity.. Is it any worth? Is it worth keeping? I have an offer from a buyer for USD 30.00 as he says its just a old wind up boat.. And is common.. I thought some professor in Robot Tin toys will be better here to assist me in my sale transaction.. Is the price offered worth?

Please also let me know the history of this toy..

    Regards..

    Dear all

I've found this skirt robot in a store. It is made out of tin and looks like the attacking martian with a SKIRT below. There are four Plastic tyres on the side of the skirt. I just need to know the rarity and if its a good buy. The stores quoting price is USD 250. Let me know if i should go ahead. Also let me know if any of our members are interested in it so then can send it across.

    Thank you

  14. Khan added a post in a topic: The Most Difficult Tin Toy Project Ever

    Dear Friends

I wanted to know from your experience which one was the most difficult TIN TOY project you have ever done.. Or is in progress.. For me it was the Radicon bus in which i had to start from the scratch and took me two months.. It was fun knowing the toy and building it back.. I had to replace the relay, coherer fuse, motor, wiring, battery box terminals, antenna's, everything basically apart from the body and chassis.. My next project is The Alps TV Robot.. Please let me know if i should take it apart or just let it hang around.. Cause i dont know how long would that take and if its worth the try!!

Eagerly awaiting responses to know what i've always missed as a project..

    Please post pictures if possible..

Really would be fun to know how you handled the project.

    Thanks..

Tip: Spray the tin toy with WD40 and wipe it clean to restore it to its original color and lithographs.
