this ebay listing had me doing a double take,
item # 301153249983
do you think the "EXC" in the description stands for excellent or perhaps,, i don't know,,exc-crement?
reminds me of a robot i bought years ago, described also as excellent, then somehow showed up with rust all over. Hmmm.
Would like to get your opinion on a Hook robot box I just purchased. Item # 151093238061, and is still in shipping.
Here is what I know so far.
1) Seller did not know if it was original or not, he said he thought it was a reproduction, but it was purchased from an Estate sale with some original toys.
2) I compared it to the two boxes in the database and it is different.
3) I compared it to the reproduction Hook box from Toy Tent, and it is different.
4) The mystery is in the Marubishi mark, it is also slightly different than the one in the database. Plus from the picture, I can't tell if it is actually a sticker or not.
5) It is not marked, and the seller couldn't find any mark. All of the reproduction boxes I have are clearly marked.
However this turns out, I either got a reproduction Hook box cheap, or a real box really cheap and it will look good next to my Hook robot I picked up a couple years ago, pictured below.
Curious what anyone thinks,
attached is an image of my greek space vehicle with box. It is from my website.
I bought the Gama tank boxed in Germany long time ago, but it is deep in storage and I
don't have a picture.
Most of my toys are deep in storage and I may not see them again for years.
So the best I can do is to post pictures I have taken in the past.
The images aren't the best but it is a try.
In case you are wondering about this group of toys, all vintage and all japanese, except for
Sorry about the grainy looking picture, taken with an Iphone.
As you can see, Red Rosco Astronaut, Space Jet, UFO- Red Man From Space and
the small Faith Capsule, yes this is the one of a recent Alphadrome topic and discussion.
I agree with everyone's comments concerning the so called "space" toy.
Here is one of my own toys from my website. I picked it up a while back.
This was also listed as a "space" boat. For some reason, the jets on the back of the boat
do look a little bit spacey to me. These jets are on a couple of other toys also if
I remember correctly.
Hello, recently ended auction. I looked as close as I could but do not in any way see a space theme. Much to the contrary of the
title and description. Maybe the lake in the picture is on some far away planet.
Nothing against the seller, just seems like a way to get people to notice.

Congratulations on the space tank, it is a great little toy.
Steve and Nasa, thanks for the kind words on my website, I really need to put more pictures on it.
What is pictured is about 15% of my collection.
Regarding the space tank, ZZRobot mentioned the Kitahara tank, this is the one I have with the
detailed radar dish. The 2 types I have seen lately have the plain color radar dish. Wonder which one
