After many requests and the good feedback (Sorry for the delay)... here is another piece to identify.
Very difficult for those who do not own it ... (I thought last time..).

Everybody feels free to guess which Robot or Space related toy this could be

Lets start with a small part of it

is it the super sonic rocket?? (the green version of the sonicon?)
I was cleaning it the other day and I seem to remember there's an astronaut on the side similar to this...

Ok, ok.... I give already up...

Congratulations Duxastrogirl, you have got it !!!

It is incredible, shame on me, I thought that this time I can succeed in letting you guess for at least a while. Before even one could mention what it could be, the riddle is already solved by the first reply to this topic. But nevertheless I can show all the pictures then..here they are.

Dux is right, it is the so called "Moon Ship Super Sonic" Battery operated, by Masudaya Company.
See all the details and the great box-Art.Does anyone (exept for Dux) has ever seen the toy or even the box in real ?

I cant remember a book where it is shown. There is just the black and white picture from a Masudaya Katalog (see Alphadrome --Space Toys section).

The shape is different from the "common" Sonicon Rocket, definitively a follow up, using old and new parts. See the Masudaya Part-Number. This number can be related to the issueing date of this Toy, f.e. compared to the other TM-Toys (see old topics on the Gang of ... dates).

Here are more pictures.

Here is the impressive backside with the huge "exhaust" pipes. Different from the Sonicon Rocket.
The function is the same as for the Sonicon Rocket. Probably there has been a whistle included with the toy. But I am glad to own the toy and the box.

Dux, do you have that whistle, is your toy or box if you have it looking the same ?

And here the box with fantastic details, what a beauty.

I wish the companies today would give such love and effort making new toys and especially the packages. It is a shame that so few of these boxed have survived.
We are the keepers of this treasures for the future generations.

At last, one more time a detail from the box top, the driver looks much nicer on the box than on the actual toy.
In addition the Masudaya Inventory number on the box. Compared to the Sonicon Rocket (No. 3043 from 1959) the number (3137) is higher, therefore came after it. The Time Line dates it back to 1963 from a Masudaya Catalog of that year.

I have two different instruction sheets of Sonicon Rockets, one is from 1959 one from 1962. This toy must have had a very long run compared to the Super Sonic Moon ship. I will probably start an own topic for it .

This toy is not in best condition but it has cought my eye immediately when a dealer offered it to me some years ago. I had never seen this toy before, you can imagine my feelings.

What have been the part numbers of the gang members again, Joe where are you ???

Hi Gernot- It's great to have you back on Alphadrome. Thank you for posting these pics (and bringing back this fun game, I'm looking forward to your next challenge). I have seen this toy twice before (not in person though), the first time was here on Alphadrome in Brian's page on Masudaya Sonicon rockets - he also gives the date of 1963. The other time was one I saw on ebay (maybe the same one Dux now owns?).

The toy is wonderful, but the box is fantastic. What a treat to wake up this morning and see such a beauty that I never have seen before. If this is the original box design from 1963 then it's got to be one of the earliest uses of that lettering style (the type used in "Moon Ship" and "Supersonic"). I usually think of this lettering style to be from the later "mod" era of the mid to late sixties. Fantastic stuff as always Gernot - Thank you!
